        Battersea Power Station

Battersea Power Station was originally built in the 1930s, as a coal-fired power station on the River Thames. By 1983 it had stopped creating electricity. Since then, the building has garnered an almost celebrity status, becoming one of the most renowned landmarks in London and a Grade II listed building. Our founders designed a scheme to showcase some of their new collection in a stunning penthouse at Battersea Power Station. As the new apartments have been constructed, so have a whole host of shops, restaurants and bars. Living in the Power Station is a lifestyle rather than just a place to keep your belongings.

        Sitting Room

Battersea Power Station - Sitting Room

This elegant apartment overlooks the heart of London; the view from the sitting room is truly stunning. Our Savile Modular Sofa fits the space perfectly and the cushions are ideal for autumn but can easily be changed with the seasons. A few gold accents here and there add a dash of opulence.

        Dining Room

When our founders designed this apartment, they wanted the interiors to feel traditional but with a modern twist, to match the exterior of the building. This is evident in the dining area, where the classic design was punctuated with our unique goat hair armchairs and each place setting was given a large flower head.

        Master Bedroom

This room has the advantage of lots of natural light, so our founders decorated it with darker pieces, to make it feel cosy and enticing. The darker furnishings contrast with the gold that is weaved throughout, which adds that elegant and luxurious feel that is so integral in a bedroom.

        Study

Hideaway in this handsome study, where modern merges with traditional and faux shagreen is the finish ‘du jour’. Your eye is drawn to the slick use of geometry; bold lines, shapes and angles work in situ to mirror the architecture of the building and pepper the room with more contemporary elements. To prevent the room from feeling overly modern, a patterned rug sweeps across the wooden floor and a comfortable armchair takes centre stage.

        Kitchen

        Battersea Power Station - Kitchen

This spacious kitchen is perfect for those who love to throw a dinner party or two, as hosts can cook and mingle. It seemed fitting to feature a large glass dining table, paired with our luxurious velvet upholstered Stafford Chairs. As the kitchen units and table setup are fairly neutral, the founders wanted to finish the look with a handful of quirky accessories. The playing card print, lamp and cushion certainly catch your attention.

        Bathroom

Everything about this minimalist bathroom exudes luxury, from the marble wall to the monochromatic colour palette, to a deep free-standing bath. Accessories only made it into the bathroom if they served a practical purpose – this helps to achieve a clean, uncluttered effect - and the curved silhouettes of the tub and polka-dot stool soften the overall look.

        Guest Bedroom

Battersea Power Station - Guest Bedroom

The low sitting armchairs and ornate coffee table are incongruous to the urban setting, but they bring character and charm to this peaceful bedroom. It’ll be a pleasure to stay in over summer, guests can make the most of the balcony, and in the colder months, when they can curl up with blankets and a good book.
